Job Description
• Operate and monitor packing machines such as VFFS, HFFS, or flow wrap machines used for packing snacks (chips, namkeen, extruded products, etc.).
• Ensure correct packing materials (laminates, pouches, labels) are loaded as per product specifications.
• Check weight accuracy, sealing quality, and batch coding during production runs.
• Perform line clearance, cleaning, and changeover between products or SKUs.
• Monitor and maintain machine speed and efficiency to meet daily production targets.
• Record production output, downtime, and wastage in log sheets.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and report machine issues promptly to the maintenance team.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure product safety and hygiene according to FSSAI / ISO / HACCP standards.
• Maintain 5S and cleanliness in the packing area.
• Handle minor troubleshooting on machines under supervisor guidance.
• Coordinate with the production, QA, and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements on the shop floor.
