Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and repairing wooden structures, furniture, and other fixtures. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship, and hands-on experience with woodworking tools, we want you! Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Assembly: Read blueprints/sketches to cut, shape, and assemble wooden materials to create furniture, cabinets, shelves, and doors. Installation: Install wooden structures, fixtures, hardware, and fittings safely and accurately at client sites or workshops. Repair & Maintenance: Inspect, repair, or replace damaged wooden structures, furniture, and cabinetry. Tool Operation: Safely handle hand and power tools (e.g., circular saws, routers, drills, sanders, and planers). Material Selection: Select the right types of wood, plywood, laminates, and veneers based on project requirements and budgets. Job Requirements & QualificationsExperience: 1 to 5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter (experience in modular furniture or interior work is a huge plus). Skills: * Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking materials. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or measurements accurately. Familiarity with standard power tools and safety regulations. Education: 8th/10th pass minimum. ITI certification in Carpentry is preferred but not mandatory if you have good practical experience. Traits: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
