Job Description
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our fire protection team. The candidate will be responsible for fabrication, welding, and installation support of fire fighting piping systems such as hydrant, sprinkler, and related components. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on MS/SS pipes, fittings, and structural components used in fire protection systems. Fabrication and erection of fire hydrant and sprinkler pipeline networks as per drawings. Carry out cutting, grinding, edge preparation, and fit-up before welding. Ensure proper alignment and joint quality as per approved standards. Conduct welding work in compliance with safety norms and site requirements. Assist in hydro/pressure testing of pipelines after installation. Coordinate with supervisors and site engineers for daily work execution. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Skills & Requirements: Proven experience in MIG welding (preferably in fire fighting or piping industry). Knowledge of fire protection systems (hydrant/sprinkler) will be an added advantage. Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and piping layouts. Familiar with welding standards and safety practices. Physically fit and able to work at site conditions.
