Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our machine manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on a variety of machine components, ensuring precision, durability, and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals used in machine manufacturing.
ā¢ Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
ā¢ Set up and operate welding machines, tools, and equipment.
ā¢ Ensure welded parts meet dimensional accuracy, strength, and quality requirements.
ā¢ Conduct visual inspection and quality checks of completed welds.
ā¢ Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition.
ā¢ Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
ā¢ Collaborate with fitters, machinists, and quality teams for smooth production.
Required Skills & Competencies:
ā¢ Strong knowledge of TIG welding techniques and procedures.
ā¢ Ability to weld thin sheets and precision components with accuracy.
ā¢ Familiarity with various welding positions (2G, 3G, 6G preferred).
ā¢ Hands-on experience with grinding, finishing, and polishing welded joints.
ā¢ Good understanding of safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility:
ā¢ Qualification: ITI Welder (mandatory).
ā¢ Experience: Minimum 2+ years in machine manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy engineering industry.
