As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the minimum wage for unskilled Office Boy roles in Delhi is ₹20,500 per month effective from 1 April 2026. Overtime must be paid at double the rate for hours beyond 8 per day. Employers must display the wage notification at the workplace.

As per the Staff Selection Commission guidelines, candidates need minimum 8th standard pass and no prior experience for Group D Office Boy posts. Age limit is 18-27 years as on 1 January 2026 with 5-year relaxation for SC/ST. Selection is based on written test and document verification.

As per the National Career Service, applicants must upload Aadhaar, PAN, 8th pass certificate and recent photo for Office Boy registrations. The portal requires bank account details for direct benefit transfer of wages. Applications submitted after 31 March 2026 will be considered for the next financial year cycle.

As per the Shops and Establishments Act enforced by state labour departments, Office Boys work 8 hours daily and 48 hours weekly with one paid weekly off. They are entitled to 15 days earned leave and 7 days casual leave per year after 240 days of service. Maternity benefit of 26 weeks applies for female staff.
