Job Description
• JOB SUMMARY
• The Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring within company premises. The role ensures safe electrical operations, minimizes downtime, and maintains compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical panels, wiring, lighting systems, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out corrective actions efficiently.
• Install electrical fixtures, switches, sockets, DB panels, and related components as required.
• Monitor power supply systems and ensure uninterrupted electrical operations.
• Follow safety guidelines while handling electrical tools and equipment.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance work, repairs, and material usage.
• Coordinate with vendors or contractors for major electrical work when required.
• Support emergency breakdown maintenance and urgent repair tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, electrical standards, and statutory safety requirements.
• REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and circuits.
• Ability to use electrical testing tools such as multimeter, tester, clamp meter, etc.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork and communication abilities.
• EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• ITI / Diploma in Electrician or Electrical Trade (Preferred).
• Valid electrician license (if applicable as per local regulations).
• EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, facility management, hospitality, F&B, manufacturing, or commercial environments.
• WORKING CONDITIONS
• May require shift duties, weekend work, or emergency call-outs depending on operational requirements.
• Work may involve physical activity, equipment handling, and exposure to electrical systems.
• PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
• Ensure minimal downtime of electrical equipment.
