Job Description
Contribute to the achievement of our companys objective by fulfilling the following: The aim for a welder is to maintain machines that manufacture and repair metal structure tools and equipment.Complete all welding and gas cutting tasks assigned within the specified time strictly following all safety procedures. Perform any other fitting tasks assigned by the MaintenanceSupervisor. Explicit all refuse in the working area after the completion ofevery job Ensure that the area is always well organized neat and tidyto the best of the hygiene standards Welding materials using the correct materials to join themetals together Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job. Assess welded surfaces structures and components toidentify errors. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearingheatresistant gloves protective masks and safety shoes. Ensure work area and methods used in carrying out jobduties meet safety requirements Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature. Weld components in flat vertical and overhead positions. Embrace the Company Vision and practice it in all aspectsof work while performing tasks or when interacting withpeople internally and/or externally Actively work on waste reduction of any form (e.g.production process time electricity water paper inkfuel purchasing of items using of items downtime etc.) Comply with all company policies and procedures including Occupational Health and Safety. Support and promote highest standards of Hygiene at our companys Group.Salary Range Rs 40000 to Rs 55000RequirementsKey Technical Skills & Knowledge Knowledge of various welding techniques including TIG MIG arc and oxyfuel welding Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques Able to carry out jobs independentlyEducation/Qualification Trade certificate in welding from a recognized institute.Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience as a welderBenefits3 years Contract if performance good renewed for another 3 years.Incase contract is renewed then wages will be increased for a period of another 3 years.Will be given 1 Round Trip Air Fare (IndiaFijiIndia) free of cost every 3 years.Will get free accommodation in Fiji & free travel to work while fooding cost will be borne by the candidate which is approx.
