Key Responsibilities of the General Electrician:
• Ensures the smooth running of all electrical systems within the hotel, maintaining all areas to the highest standards
• Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical installations, equipment, lighting, panels, and fixtures
• Responds promptly and effectively to guest and operational electrical maintenance requests
• Ensures all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory regulations
• Supports departmental plans and objectives, ensuring hotel initiatives and targets are achieved
• Collaborates with the Engineering team to control costs, manage inventory, and maintain productivity levels
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities for internal and external audits
• Promotes a positive team environment and upholds the company culture and values

Requirements of the General Electrician:
• Relevant qualification/certification in Electrical trade
• Proven experience as an Electrician (hotel or commercial property experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety practices
• Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
• Commitment to delivering exceptional service within a hospitality environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of IT systems for maintenance reporting
• Strong communication skills
• Personal integrity and a focus on excellence
