Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Electrician / Fitter)

Organization: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) – via Authorized Contractor

Location: Delhi NCR (Stations, Depots, Track Areas)

Job Type: Full-Time | Contract Basis | On-Site

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹26,000/month + OT + Duty Allowance

Job Overview:

Delhi Metro is hiring ITI-certified Technicians (Electricians, Fitters, and Mechanical Trades) for maintenance and repair work across stations, tracks, and depots. This is a great opportunity for ITI pass-outs looking to gain hands-on experience in a prestigious urban infrastructure project.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Qualification:
• ITI in Electrician / Fitter / Wireman / Mechanic (Motor Vehicle / Diesel / Maintenance)
• Recognized by NCVT / SCVT
• Experience:
• 0 to 3 years of experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance
• Age Limit: 18–32 years
• Other Requirements:
• Good understanding of tools, safety standards, and basic fault handling
• Physically fit and willing to work in shift-based field roles

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspection, servicing, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
• Work on escalators, lifts, motors, wiring, and signaling equipment
• Support track maintenance, tunnel lighting, and depot machinery upkeep
• Follow DMRC safety protocols and PPE guidelines
• Report faults and assist engineers in technical tasks

Work Details:
• Shift Timings: Rotational shifts (Morning / Evening / Night)
• Work Days: 6 days/week (1 weekly off)
• Job Locations: Metro stations, tunnels, substations, and depots across Delhi NCR
