Role & responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Install, test, and commission solar PV systems at residential, commercial, or industrial sites.
- Carry out electrical wiring, panel board connections, inverter installation, earthing, and cable routing.
- Connect solar panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and related electrical equipment safely.
- Read and follow electrical drawings, solar layouts, and technical diagrams.
- Inspect solar systems to identify faults, breakdowns, and performance issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to inverters, wiring, batteries, AC/DC connections, and panel performance.
- Ensure proper termination, load balancing, and safety compliance during installation and maintenance.
- Test voltage, current, continuity, insulation, and system output using electrical tools and meters.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and technicians during installation and service work.
- Maintain records of installation, service visits, repairs, and material usage.
- Follow all electrical safety standards, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
- Support system upgrades, replacements, and expansion work when required.
