Program Overview & Responsibilities: Receive comprehensive on-the-job training in fundamental welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Learn to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication work. Assist senior welders in setting up equipment and preparing materials for welding projects. Practice welding on different types of metals and in various positions as instructed. Understand and strictly adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Gain knowledge of different welding equipment, tools, and their proper maintenance. Participate in classroom-based learning sessions covering welding theory, metallurgy, and quality control. Contribute to the fabrication of components and structures according to project requirements. Develop skills in grinding, cutting, and finishing welded components.
