Job Description
• Lift, assemble and tack joist pieces at the jig.
• Setting up MIG Welding Equipment and performing welding operations to join metal parts and components by applying appropriate welding techniques.
• Read and interpret shop blueprints, drawings and welding specifications.
• Finding the right pieces of metal, position them, lining up and securing all pieces according to the design and help setting up the jig as required
• Apply precise and consistent weld to produce defect-free welds.
• Keep the work area clean and follow 5S standards.
• Performing routine cleaning and basic maintenance of MIG Welding Machines and practicing good housekeeping including 5S and and time management in the performance of daily duties.
• Comply with all legislated and Company’s Health, Safety Environmental, Quality and Lean policies, procedures and programs.
• All other duties as assigned.
