Job Description
Equation Staffing is hiring dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaners for our client for temporary and casual work assignments. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible work opportunities while maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments within commercial facilities. Assignments may include offices, retail spaces, medical facilities, and other commercial properties. Ideal candidates take pride in their work, follow cleaning standards, and provide consistent, reliable service.

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
• Clean glass, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces
• Refill supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizer
• Follow proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Adhere to safety, health, and company cleaning standards
• Report maintenance issues or supply needs to supervisor
• Secure buildings after cleaning, when required
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
• Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is considered an asset
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Dependable attendance
• Ability to pass a background check if required by the client
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–40 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, or flexible shifts as scheduled
