NOW HIRING: Security Guard / Bouncer

Gallery Calgary is looking for confident, professional, and reliable security staff to join our nightlife team. We’re seeking individuals who can help create a safe, high-energy, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

Requirements
β€’ 1–3+ years of nightclub, bar, venue, or event security experience preferred
β€’ Valid Alberta Security License (ProTect)
β€’ Comfortable working in high-volume nightlife environments
β€’ Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills
β€’ Physically fit, alert, and dependable
β€’ First Aid & CPR certification is an asset
β€’ Availability for late-night weekend and holiday shifts required

Responsibilities
β€’ Monitor entrances, guest flow, and crowd management
β€’ Verify IDs and support venue policies
β€’ Handle disturbances and assist with safe patron removal when necessary
β€’ Work alongside management and bar staff during busy service hours
β€’ Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
β€’ Help maintain a safe, enjoyable, and controlled atmosphere
