Job Description
Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

Duties
• Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, fixtures, and furniture to uphold facility standards
• Conduct basic facilities maintenance including replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs needed, and ensuring safety hazards are addressed promptly
• Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes

Qualifications
• Prior experience in cleaning or commercial cleaning preferred but not required
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic repair skills is a plus
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout the shift
• Reliable work ethic with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
