Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team in Ottawa, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments across our facilities. You will work independently to ensure all areas meet our high cleanliness standards while adhering to health and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and committed to delivering quality work on a consistent basis.
β€’ Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and specialized spaces
β€’ Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
β€’ Clean and disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and equipment according to established protocols
β€’ Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in a timely manner
β€’ Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory of materials
β€’ Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively
β€’ Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management promptly
β€’ Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations
β€’ Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
β€’ Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
β€’ Communicate any concerns or special cleaning requirements to supervisors

Qualifications
β€’ Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or janitorial services (preferred)
β€’ Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
β€’ Excellent time management and organizational skills
β€’ Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
β€’ Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and proper usage techniques
β€’ Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation protocols
β€’ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
β€’ Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor
β€’ Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment (preferred)
