We are currently hiring professional and reliable Event Security Guards to support operations at a large outdoor sporting event hosted on an expansive course property.

This is a Fixed contract opportunity running from June 8th - June 15th. Guards in this role will perform a combination of access control duties and extensive foot patrols throughout the event grounds.

Success in this position requires strong stamina, attentiveness, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment where safety, customer service, and operational awareness are equally important.

Your Role
β€’ Perform extensive foot patrols across event grounds to maintain safety and security presence
β€’ Remain on your feet for prolonged periods while monitoring activity throughout assigned zones
β€’ Verify and validate vehicle access passes before granting entry at designated gate locations
β€’ Communicate with on-site dispatch via two-way radio to confirm vehicle authorization
β€’ Maintain organized traffic flow and provide clear directions to drivers and event attendees
β€’ Identify, assess, and escalate suspicious or unauthorized activity
β€’ Support emergency vehicle access and incident response when required
β€’ Maintain a highly professional and visible security presence, especially in areas with public interaction and media coverage
β€’ Work collaboratively with event staff, supervisors, dispatch personnel, and fellow guards
β€’ Apply sound judgment and critical thinking in real-time operational situations
β€’ This role requires guards to function as part of a cohesive team operating across multiple access points and patrol zones within a large outdoor environment.

β€’ Valid G Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle (required)

Previous experience in event security, access control, or mobile/patrol roles is considered an asset.
