Your role

As a Tactical Security Guard, you are the first line of defense — and the first to help. You’ll:
• Engage with the public compassionately, especially individuals from vulnerable sectors, showing empathy and respect in every interaction
• Work in the heart of Dowtown Toronto across different parking facilities
• De-escalate conflicts calmly using sound judgment, communication, and situational awareness
• Act as a first responder, providing immediate support in medical or crisis situations until emergency services arrive
• Patrol parking environments — including lots, stairwells, and exteriors — to maintain a visible and reassuring presence
• Monitor alarms and surveillance systems, ensuring equipment is functional and incidents are addressed promptly
• Deliver professional customer service, assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns
• Document incidents and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as required

What you bring
• Authorization to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification - WSIB approved
• Valid G Class Ontario Driver's License
• Clean Driver's Abstract
• Ability to stand and patrol for 12-hour shifts
• Ability to conduct interior and exterior patrols in extreme weather conditions
• Minimum 1 year of tactical experience engaging with members of the vulnerable population
• Police Foundations diploma or previous police/military experience (strong asset)
• Availability of night shifts throughout the week (Must be available Monday to Sunday: 8PM-8AM (12 hour contintenal shifts))
