Your Mission: Shaping Metal
• Perform various welding tasks
• Work with and understand different types of metals
• Brush, grind, and polish parts as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures
• Repair vehicle transport trucks
• General maintenance
• Perform any other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor

What You Already Master - Technical Skills
• Proficiency in welding processes: SMAW, GMAW (MIG), FCAW
• Plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting skills
• Ability to weld using used or recycled materials
• Blueprint reading and metal structure fabrication
• Experience repairing trucks and trailers
• Experience repairing mining equipment and heavy machinery (an asset)
• Use of magnetic drill and industrial grinder
• Strict adherence to workplace safety standards

• Strong expertise in welding, fabrication, and material preparation
• Experience with vehicle transport equipment
• Basic knowledge of road vehicle mechanics
• DEP in welding-assembly or equivalent diploma

What You Can Expect from the Position

• Day shift: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
