Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and vigilant Bilingual Security Guard who is fluent in both English and French to ensure the safety and security of our premises. In this energetic role, you will be the first line of defense, monitoring access points, conducting surveillance, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your proactive approach will help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets alike. Duties
• Manage access control by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in both English and French.
• Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the property and identify potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively.
• Perform routine patrols of the premises, including checkpoints, entrances, and sensitive areas to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for suspicious behavior and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, supporting emergency response procedures with confidence.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping for security audits.

Skills
• Fluency in both English and French, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Certifications or training in first aid, CPR, conflict management, or law enforcement are highly desirable.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts professionally and effectively.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout your shift.
