Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in serving and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in creating authentic sushi dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and serving sushi and related Japanese cuisine, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties
β€’ Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
β€’ Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling ingredients
β€’ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
β€’ Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to guarantee safety and quality
β€’ Serve sushi to customers with professionalism and attention to detail
β€’ Assist in menu development and suggest new sushi creations to enhance the dining experience
β€’ Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
β€’ Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
