Job Overview

Pioneer 2000 Enterprises Inc is seeking a motivated and experienced 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber to join our growing residential team in Calgary, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice looking to gain strong hands-on experience in residential plumbing, gas, and hydronic heating systems while working alongside skilled Journeyperson Plumbers.

The ideal candidate has solid residential plumbing experience, can work independently with minimal supervision, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship. You will play a key role in new installations, renovations, and service work while continuing to develop your technical skills in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the installation of residential plumbing systems in new construction and renovation projects
• Rough-in and finish plumbing fixtures, drainage systems, and water lines
• Support installation and servicing of gas lines and hydronic heating systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Collaborate with Journeyperson Plumbers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing issues under supervision
• Ensure all work complies with Alberta plumbing codes and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and homeowners when required
• Participate in ongoing training and apprenticeship development

Qualifications
• Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber in Alberta (or equivalent)
• Strong residential plumbing experience required
• Experience with rough-ins, finishing, and service work preferred
• Basic knowledge of gas and hydronic systems is an asset
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
• Ability to work independently while taking direction when needed
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
