Area Cleaning Supervisor - GTA & West (Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Hamilton).

Part-Time | Flexible Shifts Required | Own Vehicle Required (Gas Card Provided).

Hourly Rate: $25.00/hr.

Generations Cleaning is seeking a motivated and experienced Area Cleaning Supervisor to support our growing portfolio of accounts across the GTA and Western Ontario. This part-time role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys coaching cleaning teams, managing multiple sites, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

About the Role:

As an Area Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee cleaning staff across multiple commercial sites within your assigned region. You’ll build strong relationships with team members, ensure sites meet company standards, and provide hands-on operational support.

This role primarily covers Toronto and West (Mississauga, Oakville, Hamilton). A gas card is provided for all work-related travel. This is a flexible, hands-on position that requires independence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting frontline staff. Some evening and flexible hours may be required based on site schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Quality Control:
β€’ Conduct regular site visits to ensure cleaning quality and compliance with company standards.
β€’ Provide real-time coaching and support to staff.
β€’ Address client concerns promptly and professionally.

Team Leadership & Training:
β€’ Train new hires on cleaning procedures, chemical use, equipment, and safety protocols.
β€’ Assist with new account start-ups and onboarding.
β€’ Provide ongoing mentorship and performance support.

Operations & Logistics:
β€’ Maintain communication with cleaners and management regarding staffing and site updates.
β€’ Transport supplies, equipment, and materials between locations as needed.
β€’ Document site visits, training, and performance notes.
β€’ Support scheduling adjustments and coverage when required.

Qualifications:
β€’ 2+ years of experience supervising cleaning staff or managing multiple sites (commercial cleaning preferred)
β€’ Strong knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment..
β€’ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
β€’ Must have a reliable personal vehicle (required for travel between sites).
β€’ Valid Ontario G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
β€’ Willingness to travel across the GTA West region.
β€’ Ability to work occasional evenings and flexible hours.
β€’ Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
