Job Description
Job Summary

Marra Metal Ltd. is hiring a 2nd Year Welding Apprentice to Journeyman Welder with experience in structural steel welding and ironworking. Work includes welding and erecting structural buildings and miscellaneous steel in field environments.

Responsibilities
β€’ Perform structural welding and fitting
β€’ Assist with erection of structural steel and buildings
β€’ Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
β€’ Operate company welding truck and equipment
β€’ Work safely at heights and on active job sites
β€’ Coordinate with crew members and other trades

Requirements
β€’ Registered 2nd/3rd year apprentice Welder or Ironworker
β€’ Structural welding and/or ironworking experience preferred
β€’ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
β€’ Ability to work independently and in small crews

Preferred Certifications
β€’ Fall Protection (Fall Pro)
β€’ Scissor Lift & Man Lift
β€’ Telehandler / Zoom Boom

Company will provide required safety training if certifications are not already held.

Schedule
β€’ 8–12 hour shifts
β€’ 35–60 hours per week
