Job Title: CWB Welder

Job Type: Full-Time/Temporary (3+ months)

Minimum Level of Education: Registered Apprentice or Certificate Journeyperson

Schedule: Monday - Friday (min of 40 hours a week)

Locations to be Supported: Fort Saskatchewan, AB area

Anticipated Start Date: Immediately

Position Summary

We are seeking multiple CWB Welders for our shop in Fort SK, AB area. The successful candidates will report to the Shop Supervisor.

Other responsibilities include:
• Interpreting client and company-supplied construction fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Setting up components to specifications.
• Determining what welding equipment and methods to use based on requirement.
• Preparing and aligning parts for welding, joining components, repairing holes, and cutting through materials using specialized welding equipment.
• Complying with ONEX’s and client safety policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Must have CWB All positions (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW)
• Certified Journeyperson or Registered Apprentice.
• 3-5 years of structural fitting experience.
• CSTS 2020 & WHMIS required.
• Stainless experience is an asset.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be capable of physical labour.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
