Job Description
Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong welding expertise, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various fabrication tools and techniques. This role involves working on custom metal projects, including specialty trailers, structural components, and assembly tasks, ensuring precision and quality in all work. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of reading schematics and blueprints to produce high-quality fabricated parts. We are seeking an individual who takes pride in their work ethic and daily attendance.

Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on various metals according to detailed blueprints and schematics
• Operate plasma cutting, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to shape metal components
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for assembly and fabrication tasks
• Rigging materials and components safely for lifting or positioning using cranes or forklifts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects

Qualifications
• Proven experience in welding MIG with the ability to produce high-quality welds
• Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, and construction processes
• Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift operation, and schematics reading
• Proficiency with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for fabrication projects
• Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments involving ductwork or structural steel is preferred
• Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and adhere to all safety standards and protocols
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in precision work

Our company holds each new hire to a 3 month probation where the individuals skills and ability to work in our team environment is assessed. Once a full-time contract has been secured, the individual is eligible for the following paid benefits;
