Role Description

This is a Floater part-time on-site role for a Security Guard located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Concierge will be responsible for front desk management, guest assistance, package handling, and access control. Other responsibilities include managing reservations, performing receptionist duties, and providing exceptional customer service. The role demands proactive surveillance, emergency response, and the consistent implementation of Chromium Guard's high security and hospitality standards - The Chromium Standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Receptionist Duties and front desk management
• Ability to handle package management and access control
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure
• Previous experience in the security or hospitality industry is a plus

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and assist residents, guests, and contractors with professionalism and courtesy
• Monitor surveillance systems and access control panels to ensure secure property entry
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports, ensuring accurate documentation
• Issue and track keys, access cards, and contractor credentials
• Respond to fire alarms, emergencies, and site incidents according to building protocols
• Coordinate amenity bookings and enforce condominium rules with discretion
• Support a safe and welcoming environment through proactive presence and excellent customer engagement
• Liaise with property management, building staff, and board members when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure front desk area
• Create and adjust security staff schedules, ensuring shift coverage and operational consistency

Requirements
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)
• 2+ years of experience in residential concierge or condominium security
• Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in a hospitality, residential, or security environment (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern access control systems
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and solution-focused
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
• Experience in team coordination or shift leadership is an asset
• Flexible availability (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays as needed)
