Site Description: This assignment is at a Bell Canada commercial retail location that provides mobility and residential services, including device exchanges, trade-ins, and equipment returns. Customers frequently visit the site to exchange or trade in mobility devices at participating locations to return defective accessories.

Job Description:

Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and respond to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. In this role, it is essential that you are physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Duties & Responsibilities:
β€’ Providing exceptional service to enhance the customer experience
β€’ Ensuring compliance with the standards, rules, and regulations at the Property
β€’ Perform highly visible patrols of assigned patrol areas/zones (by foot) and positively engage with tenants, guests, visitors, and employees on an ongoing basis
β€’ Maintain strong knowledge of activities and special events at the Property and assist visitors and guests during their visit to the Property
β€’ Normal physical activity characterized by extended periods of walking and standing, periodic sitting, kneeling, bending, and use of basic motor skills; and
β€’ Regular keyboarding and record-keeping in written logs required
β€’ Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
β€’ Able to use tact and diplomacy in dealings across a range of settings and situations
β€’ Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid, CPR, or AED support until medical professionals arrive
β€’ Ability to maintain and enforce access control procedures
β€’ Solid understanding of emergency and standard operating procedures
β€’ Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the Trespass to Property Act
β€’ Assist with Fire & Life Safety inspections
β€’ Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with using a standard report-writing program
β€’ Investigate incidents and occurrences
β€’ Draft detailed incident and occurrence reports
β€’ Maintain the peace, safety, and security of all patrons, and clients on the property
β€’ Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
β€’ De-escalate emergency/crisis situations
β€’ Assist emergency and law enforcement personnel
β€’ Line management, customer service
β€’ Assist with daily operations as needed/required or directed.Qualifications:
β€’ Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
β€’ Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
β€’ Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment both indoors and outdoors as required
