Job Description
Job Summary
A busy Fish and Seafood restaurant , seeking friendly and professional Servers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency, and a passion for hospitality. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS are highly valued.

Duties
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed during food handling and serving
• Assist with some food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation guidelines
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience

Requirements
• Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a hospitality setting
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous but not required
