Delivery Driver Status: Regular, Full time Location: Ottawa, Ontario Job Description Interested? Daytime schedule: Monday to Friday. Known customer base. Opportunity for advancement. Do you have what we’re looking for? Experience with delivery work. Valid driver’s license (Class 5). Someone with good people skills who enjoys having a personal relationship with customers. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and has due regard for safe working practices. Here’s a typical day: Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines. Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure that the delivery route and load organization are fully optimized. Be proactive and deal with route and itinerary changes. Make sure that everything has been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises. Assist warehouse personnel in order to be able to deliver the orders on time.
