Job Summary Install, maintain and repair pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems, in the industrial, commercial and institutional markets. Inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with local and national regulations.
Key Responsibilities Provide 24-hr plumbing and heating service to all Ainsworth customers.
Make a commitment to further mechanical knowledge through education and training seminars.
Able to maintain RCMP, Public Works Reliable clearance status.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications Minimum holding a plumbing certificate/apprenticeship level
Maintain Education, professional designation, knowledge, skills, abilities, personal characteristics
Up to date knowledge of local plumbing codes
Strong verbal communication, stress- and time-management skills
The pay range is $51.04 to $61.25 per hour. The compensation for this position is as per the collective agreement.
