Jardeg Construction is recruiting for a 3rd OR 4th Year Apprentice Steamfitter/Pipefitter to join the esteemed team at CNRL Wolf Lake near Bonnyville, Alberta for a short project from June 15-25.

CNRL Wolf Lake is an In-Situ Thermal site

Preference will be given to local candidates in the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area and LOA be provided to canidates who qualify.

As a welder apprentice, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
β€’ Working knowledge of welding equipment involved with various welding procedures
β€’ Have thorough knowledge of metals, arc electrodes, welding gases and gas welding filter rods
β€’ Use welding processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, or SAW to weld pressure piping.
β€’ Join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components under supervision
β€’ Able to prepare, fit up and bridge tack weld pipe for SMAW/GTAW process.
β€’ Have a working knowledge of the welding equipment involved with various welding procedures

β€’ Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive
β€’ Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection
β€’ Energy Safety Canada Confined Space

β€’ Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
