Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and cargo across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely and secure transportation of goods while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Duties
β€’ Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations
β€’ Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
β€’ Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
β€’ Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation
β€’ Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
β€’ Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
β€’ Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities
β€’ Assist in securing cargo to prevent damage during transit

Skills
β€’ Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
β€’ Experience operating freight trucks and heavy equipment such as forklifts
β€’ Knowledge of freight handling, loading/unloading procedures, and safety regulations
