Job Description
Responsibility/Purpose of Job:

The Finishing Packer (FTOP) is responsible for the daily operations, packing, drilling, banding of the finished products.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
• Prepare orders for finished packaging either cartons or flat pack as per customer specs.
• Set up Shranklin for proper packaging size when shrink-wrapping.
• Inspect finished packages and place them into the final container.
• Setting up conveyor for combo orders.
• Balance combo orders.
• Set up PMC.
• Comply to all SOP’s and Quality Procedures.
• General maintenance and housekeeping of department.
• Perform all related duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to maintain good attendance.
• Must be able to work a steady shift either days, afternoons or night shift.
