Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with various tools and schematics. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The Plumber will ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes, contributing to the smooth operation of our projects and client satisfaction.

Duties
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and existing structures
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and specifications for plumbing installations
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
• Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate work efforts
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems using basic math and schematics to identify root causes
• Assemble plumbing components accurately according to specifications
• Follow safety protocols and building codes during all phases of work
• Maintain detailed records of work performed for project documentation

Qualifications
• Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair in residential or commercial settings
• Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance practices
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and schematics reading
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
• Knowledge of construction standards, safety regulations, and building codes
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Relevant certifications or licenses are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is a plus
