Job Description
Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our vibrant pub team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring smooth service operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service settings. Previous experience with POS systems and food handling is highly desirable. Duties
• Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
• Assist with food preparation and basic food handling tasks as needed
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while maintaining quality service
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards
• Support team members during busy periods to maintain a smooth workflow

Qualifications
• Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or cashiering roles
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
