The Role:

The Robotic Welder Operator ensures parts are manufactured or processed in accordance with process control plans and that production output targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
• Adjust and setup the robot to production specifications.
• Troubleshoot and remedy weld defects, wire feeders, etc.
• Debug robotic programs.
• Operate machines and process work as instructed by the supervisor.
• Adjusting and setting robotic weld machines to specification.
• Ensuring parts are made or processed in a prompt manner and production output figures are met.
• Set up, program, and conduct tests for implementing process improvements and developing new product.
• Assisting with fixturing and jog design.

What You Bring:
• 2 years’ work related experience in programming and operating robotic welding machines
• Understanding of weld quality
• Familiarity with MIG and TIG welding
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in training others.
• Experience with IGM robotic welding systems considered an asset
• Strong written and oral communication skills
