Advanced Flow Systems Pipe Works is looking for an experienced and energetic B Pressure Welder to join us at our production facility in Calgary, Alberta.

The Class B Pressure Welder welds standard and custom products. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.

Essential Functions For This Role Are
• Work with Supervisors and Lead Hands to ensure continuous improvements in the work cells hitting daily goals set, welding according to pre-set parameters using TIG, MIG, and flux core welding processes.
• Read and follow drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld
• Complete all required paperwork and necessary preparation work
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
• Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

Experience, Qualifications, And Skills Required
• Minimum B Level Ticket
• Welding of Stainless Steel using GMAW
• TIG welding experience with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel
• MIG welding experience on Stainless and Carbon steel pipe and vessels
• Fitting experience on Stainless and Carbon steel pipe and vessels
• Must be available to work the afternoon shift from 3 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday to Thursday
