We’re looking for a full-time Servicing & Cleaning Technician @ Ottawa site, could it be you?

Your future role

As a member of the Servicing and Cleaning team, you are responsible to clean light rail vehicles (LRV) following specified standards of Quality and Delivery that meet the Customer and ALSTOM expectations so as to ensure our passengers commute in a safe and spotless environment.

While interacting daily with co-workers, quality inspectors, team leaders, supervisors, and managers, all activities will be performed according to EHSS policies, procedures and rules in place.

You’ll specifically take care of
• Complying and enforcing EHSS and Quality procedures and rules
• Cleaning LRVs (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing and sanitizing)
• Carrying out basic quality checks
• Handling, storing, packing, discarding items and materials including chemicals

About you

You will need to have relevant experience and be computer literate with good communication skills. However, we value attitude as much as experience and we’ll look to you for

· To be able to do the work on time with minimal supervision

· To be dependable and meticulous

· To be flexible and available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends/holidays as needed

· To work closely with support functions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement
