We are currently seeking: Journeyman Boom Truck operators for work in Edmonton.

Responsibilities:
• Determine the appropriate crane setup, rigging and lift points utilizing the information available (load weights, crane charts, rigging tags, and distances etc.
• Coordinate and plan lifts and jobs with Encore Journeyman Boom Truck Operators, record all lift plans on the back of the FLHA form.
• Complete all required electronic and hardcopy paperwork and submit it in a timely manner (BOL’s, Drivers logs, Pre/post trips, & FLHA’s, trailer load paperwork, crane logs etc.
• Direct assigned signallers following verification of rigging and signally competency.
• Complete unit familiarization training procedure and paperwork on all new and unfamiliar equipment.
• Review and adhere to Encore’s lifting procedures.
• Complete monthly maintenance and inspection on assigned truck(s) and crane(s).
• Adhere to an on-call rotation schedule.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and stock of supplies when completing a post trip walk around.
• Provide mentorship and training to Apprentices, Swamper/Riggers and new employees.
• Follow customer and site specific procedures and policies.
• Communicate with Dispatchers on job progress updates and changes through out the day.
• Consult with Dispatch on all difficult lifts or significant job scope changes.

Job Requirements
• Journeyman Boom Truck Certificate (Alberta or equivalent)
• Class 1 drivers license with airbrake endorsement
• 5 year clean driving abstract

• Able to repeatedly lift 50lbs during the course of a working day
