Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager to join our kitchen team. This role involves packing food to go for takeout preparing them for pick up and/or efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in food packing operations, kitchen environments, and possess strong focus to handle high volume of packing food for takeout and delivery. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting where attention to detail and safety are paramount.

Duties
• Assemble takeout food according to food safety guidelines
• Package prepared takeout food securely to prevent spillage during delivery hand off
• Inspect food for quality assurance before packaging
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
• Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times

Requirements
• Prior experience in packing food and kitchen help
• Familiarity with packaging processes and use of kitchen preparation tools
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a restaurant setting
