Job Description
B PRESSURE ALLOY WELDERS REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY!!

United Association Local 488, is seeking Journeyperson B Pressure welders for current and future Alloy Welding Positions in the Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Red Deer and Fort McMurray areas.

All positions are by-hand with a rate of $63.48/hour which includes 10% holiday pay, with a total compensation package including pension and benefits of $74.29/hour.

- Double time for overtime after 10 hours in a day, double time for all hours on Saturday, Sunday, and statutory holidays.

· Alloy welders receive an additional $3.25/hour premium.

· Nightshift work premium is an additional $4.50/hour.

· Camp provided for turnaround work in Fort McMurray

· Live Out Allowance (LOA) provided for residents outside of local areas in Fort Saskatchewan, Red Deer and Edmonton regions.

All journeypersons must have Alberta certification (ABSA B Pressure) and/or Red Seal Trade certificate, Alberta B Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province.

Safety training required (must be Energy Safety Canada certified) :

· Confined Space Entry

· Fall Protection

· Half Mask Fit Testing (respirator) – 3M 6000 series and North 7700 series

· CSO/BSO

· CSTS 2020

· Mobile Elevated Work Platform (required for most jobs)
