Job Description
Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Front of House Staff to join our vibrant pub team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring smooth service operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service settings. Previous experience with POS systems and food handling is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties
• Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
• Assist with food preparation and basic food handling tasks as needed
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while maintaining quality service
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards
• Support team members during busy periods to maintain a smooth workflow

Qualifications
• Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or cashiering roles
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if required
