Job Description
Enhance welding efficiency and quality as a Welding

Engineer in a dynamic role. Lead the welding program by developing

techniques and procedures for diverse

materials.

In this role, you will be

responsible for managing the welding program's operations, ensuring

adherence to CSA codes, and tailoring procedures to meet project

demands. You will oversee the inspection processes, maintain

documentation, and maintain effective communication with NDT

inspectors. Your contribution will be crucial in training personnel

and performing annual audits to uphold standards throughout all

departments.

Key Responsibilities : • Take

ownership of welding program management • Create procedures for

various materials including aluminum • Perform inspections on

completed welds and assemblies • Maintain communication with

outside inspectors • Ensure compliance with quality and safety

standards

Requirements : • Completed

post-secondary Mechanical Engineering program • Current P. Eng with

2+ years of related experience • Certified CWB welding inspector

required • At least 3 years working with steel fabricators •

Familiarity with NDT and welding

equipment
