Our client is seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Welder to join their dynamic team in Montreal, Quebec, CA . The successful candidate will work under the guidance of experienced welders and supervisors, learning the intricacies of welding techniques, safety protocols, and blueprint reading.

Key Responsibilities: Assist certified welders in various welding processes (e.g., SMAW, FCAW, GMAW). Prepare materials for welding, including grinding, cutting, and fitting metal components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and cared for. Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Read and interpret shop drawings and welding symbols. Perform basic welding tasks under supervision as proficiency increases. Participate actively in training sessions and skill development programs. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately to supervisors. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere. Understand different types of metals and their properties for effective welding.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail.
