Job Description
Position: Welder (Unlicensed, MIG/TIG welding)

Our client is a global manufacturer of truck trailers.

Working hours:

7:30am-6pm, Mon.

-Thurs.

Wage:
Up to $25/hr depending on the working expeirence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on various gauges of steel and aluminum.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine welding specifications.
Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts to build trailer frames, sides, roofs, and doors.
Operate heavy machinery such as jibs, hoists, and forklifts to position materials (certification a plus).
Conduct quality checks on finished welds to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Other general duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in heavy manufacturing, automotive, or trailer production.
Proficiency with MIG welding processes is required; experience with aluminum is a significant plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school training is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
Capable of frequently lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, and kneeling.
