Overview
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Class 5 Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves operating company vehicles to transport goods and providing essential hands-on labour support. The ideal candidate maintains a clean driving record, a strong commitment to safety, and the physical ability to handle freight and equipment efficiently. • Fluent in reading & writing English
• Available 7 days a week & 24 hours a day
Responsibilities and Duties
• Loading & securing all manner of shipment types (loose & freight) & offloading your truck (alone & with a team)
• Light truck maintenance
• Reporting via paperless & paper BOL’s
• Inventory management of product on your truck
Qualifications and Skills
Here is what you need to qualify as a Class 5 Driver with AMJ Calgary:
• You have a valid, full class 5 driver's license
• You are physically fit and can lift 75 lbs.
• You have excellent management, communication and organizational skills
• You possess a great attitude and enjoy meeting people
• You must be able to pass a City of Calgary Police background check.
• You must be able to produce an acceptable Commercial Driver's abstract.
• Ability to operate multiple apps
• 2 years + driving experience
• Ability to safely back up without the assistance of spotters
• Handling light assembly & disassembly of furniture
