Position Summary

We are currently hiring for a full-time Overnight Security Guard position at : McCOR – The Dunwynn Centre (1650 Dundas St E, Mississauga), before Wednesday, April 1st.

This is a critical role to support site operations during the transition period. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, tactical environment. Tactical experience is strongly preferred.

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• CPR/ First Aid certified
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong report writing abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Experience in tactical or high-risk environments (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to ensure safety and security
• Control access to the site and verify credentials
• Identify and respond to security breaches, safety hazards, or incidents
• Maintain a strong and visible presence on-site
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate when required
• De-escalate situations using professional communication techniques
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Enforce company and site-specific policies and procedures
• Coordinate with emergency services when necessary
