Our client, a renowned facilities management company, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Cleaning Services Supervisor to oversee daily operations at various high-profile client sites. This position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will lead a team of cleaning professionals, ensuring efficient scheduling, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of cleaning staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with cleaning protocols. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance. Enforce health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal procedures. Respond promptly to client requests and address any concerns or issues related to cleaning services. Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies. Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale. Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, completed tasks, and supply usage. Collaborate with facility managers and clients to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is an asset. Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Proven knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment. Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
