Responsibilities:
Assist senior welders and fabricators with various tasks on the shop floor. Learn and practice different welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, on a variety of materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements. Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and deburring. Perform basic metal cutting and shaping using hand and power tools. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Participate actively in classroom-based theoretical training sessions. Operate and maintain welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
